Robert just called me. He starts right off with "I'm driving in my car, but my buddy just called and told me we're the #1 story on Slashdot. Can you open a browser and confirm it?" I gulped. I had a feeling this was going to happen at some point. Sure enough, we are. I feel honored.
Fortunately, the server seems to be holding up well. We debugged the previous round of crashes and implemented some fixes.

Wouldn't it be better to make the iso available via bittorrent?
Yea, we have thought about bittorrent. So far, we've been doing okay with our bandwidth, so we have been prioritizing other things more highly, but it's definitely on our list for future releases.
Depending on where you were reading this (on vyatta.com or blogspot.com), the post title was a link to the Slashdot story. I put another explicit link in there, duplicating the other. The default Blogger template is not obvious that way.
